Our Micro & Nano Scale Transport Group performs academic research in study of micro/nanoscale fluid and heat transport. Fundamental understanding obtained is used to develop microengineered devices. Applications which involve the micro/nanoscale transport process are drug delivery, rare cell sorting, energy systems, oil-extractions, manufacturing smart functional materials to name few.
With these applications in perspective, our Research Group study the problems involved in dynamics of soft membranes, liquid droplet suspensions, micro-droplet condensation, nanoscale heat transport, solid particle suspensions, hemodynamics and droplet wetting. We aim develop applications related to medical, manufacturing and energy field using our study.
